This series is photographed at the anatomical theater housed in the museum Gustavianum in Uppsala, Sweden. The theater was constructed in the 1600s, and used for the dissection of corpses for study. The photographs and video investigate vouyerism.

The Baby Doll Mythos is a photographic series that addresses the exploitation and consumption of the female body and subsequent questioning of feminine identity. Roy investigates gender roles in this series of self-portraits and still lifes.

Women is a series of portraits of women of diverse backgrounds, and is an exploration of steroetypes and art historical references. Roy was inspired by women in her personal life, and how they could be transformed into iconic imagery.

Self-Portraits is not a cohesive collection of photographs. The series comprises self-portraits spanning several years. The images reflect Roy's identification and alienation to figures of women in mythology, literature, and film.

Alchemy is Roy's earliest body of work. The series reflects her transition from painting to photography. The photographs of self-portraits and still lifes are the result of experiments with semi-transparent materials and mixed light.
